Details
The damping effect of the shock absorber is to convert the energy of the shock into heat energy. If the suspension produces a large movement, the opposite shock absorber will also produce considerable resistance to restrain it. This resistance comes from the piston of the shock absorber that will push the oil into the small valve, which will turn the resistance into heat. The heat generated inside the shock absorber will heat the damping oil, and the viscosity of the oil will become thinner after heating (this reaction is like engine oil).
